Our fascination with rain chains began in 2018 during a trip to Kyoto, Japan (remember the days when you could just just hop on a plane and leave everything behind for two weeks?). We signed up for a rustic temple homestay where we experienced Japanese tea drinking practices, yoga and Zen meditation. What stuck in our minds were the beautiful rain chains or "kusari-doi" adorning the gutter corners and the wonderful calm they brought forth in us on rainy days.

Taking inspiration from that holiday, DULSETTE was born to recapture the feel good Zen vibes with dulcet tones characterized by nature.

We designed our first rain chain to not only invoke that sense of calm during rainy days, but also allow it to interact with the other natural elements, such as the sun and the wind..
